Exclamation VMWare Issue
On our Linux dedicated server, we have VMWare running Windows Vista Ultimate. We seem to not be able to connect to any websites VIA Domain names.

EX: Yahoo!, Google, Dedicated Servers :: Dedicated Server Hosting :: Dedicated Server:: Linux Dedicated Servers :: Windows Dedicated Servers

On my Home PC, i have pinged the websites, and got their IP. I then tried this:

EX: http://123.123.123.123 (the actual ips to the domains though)

And THAT works. So why is it i cannot use domain names to connect to the website, but the IP address for the website works? Any Ideas? Suggestions?

i beleive this issue has something to do with DNS therefore I am moving this to the DNS area of the forums

If you could run
Code:
ipconfig /all
on your virtualized Windows and paste the results that would help us better debug your problem.

Also, please attempt the following command

ipconfig /flushdns
